This one turned out quite weird, but still... I do actually like it!
The girl with her legs up in the air is the birthday-girl, but she doesn't think she's getting enough attention. This definitely is a way to get attention!
For some reason I KEEP painting presents... I do actually like them more when still wrapped!
Tell me what you think!
I thought this one also fitted the Voices-Illustration-Friday-theme... Many people, a lot of voices

Birds day out at sea
And here's another one! I made this bird-drawing today. I'm not really happy with the result but I do really like the colours. I tried to make every bird a real character.
This is "birds day out at sea". And they're really enjoying the sea breeze and the sun! But as you can see the sea gull isn't very happy at the moment. That's because blue bird ( which isn't a blue bird ) jus't left a poo-poo at the right side of the drawing. The others don't really care ;)

After the wedding
Hello there!
It has been a while but here's a new illustration I made! The idea for this painting came out of the blue. Maybe that's why I'm in love with the BLUE BLUE BLUE wall behind this cute bride? She's definitely excited about all the presents she got today ! Unfortunately I haven't been able to get the colours 100% right, they're much better in real life! But well, I just hope you like all these chandeliers on the ceiling and presents on the floor!

Flying in the air by holding a balloon
How fantastic would it be if we could fly, high up in the sky? By holding a beautiful balloon ? It would be BRILLIANT!
Unfortunately my camera couldn't get the colours right. I left the bottom empty on purpose because otherwise you wouldn't know where to look ;)
Oh and please listen to this song while looking at this painting ( you can skip the first 18 seconds if you want to )

It's from Pixar's AMAZING Ratatouille and really inspired me for this work.

Carousel in winter (Paris)
Another "Paris-painting". I have always loved these old-fashioned carousels, and I decided to make a colourful one out of this.
Oh by the way, the yellow one in the front will be mine. You're free to sit on the one you like the most!
(Please click on the painting so you can watch it full-sized. The white on the bottom may look too white but that's because of the photograph! Sorry for that )

Girl in Paris (selling flowers )
Today I finished this drawing of a girl in old-fashioned Paris, she's selling flowers. I got my inspiration from a book with a lot of incredible old pictures of Paris. I did change some things to make it my own and I'm defenitely going to do more of these Paris-works!

Sad willow in the cold blue ( or: Sad Sparkling Willow in Vacantness )
I just painted this willow. I am going to add something else to it but it has to be something really good, and I haven't got anything in mind yet! So that's why it's only a lonely willow, but I like him :) Just as he is standing there.
This is also my entry for Illustration Friday's "vacant".
And a colour variation I did digitally
This is the final drawing. I'm going to leave it like this, just simple. Added a few "dots"

Arrogant dog out for a walk
I'm still working on the background, but it's hard! ( Maybe I'm just going to draw a simple, light-coloured Eiffel-tower, something recognizable ). But I have to admit that I'm proud of the fence, the dog and the trees! Oh, and I like the colours. Hope you like it too! Let me know.
Anyway I called this drawing "Arrogant dog out for a walk". I think you'll understand!
( Made the drawing a little darker, digitally. Because I couldn't get it right with my camera )

Happy Birthday - cake
Last evening I got totally fascinated by this photo
This delicious birthday-cake was made by a woman who makes the most beautiful creations ( check out more: http://flickr.com/photos/icingdreams/)
So I decided I wanted to draw this cake. And this is the result.
When I was done I thought the cake looked ok, but I wasn't happy with the over-all look. So that's why I added some more cakes which I made up myself. And NOW I'm happy!
!! Please !! Click on the picture to watch it full-sized because the colours look awful in this small version!

The beginning of The Dogs Book
Hello,
Today I got the idea of making a little book about dogs. All sorts of dogs.. small dogs, large dogs, cute dogs, funny dogs. And I'll be drawing all of them.
These sugary poodles are the first result. I am going to use my own fantasy to change the dogs when I think this is necessary. And in the case of the poodles, I thought it would be brilliant if we would have coloured poodles! Babyblue with lavender, sugary pink with fresh orange... Hope you like them and please check out for more to come!
